hesa pic HESA-A is a natural biologic compound of herbal and marine origin (Wild celery, Cumin and King Prawn) with anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, immuno-modulatory, anti-oxidant, and metabolic effects. It is composed of organic and mineral constituents. HESA-A also contains traces of vanadium(V), nickel(Ni), titanium(Ti), zinc (Zn), Strontium (Sr), and selenium(Se) that are known for their anti-oxidant properties. Although its mechanism of action has yet to be fully elucidated, HESA-A’s activity may be attributed to the anti-oxidant properties of the elements contained in the drug complex.

HESA.A: A promising solution for the improvement of quality of life in cancer patients

In oncology today, there is a growing recognition of the importance of maintaining or improving patients' quality of life (QOL) throughout the disease course. In the United State, the use of tumor-destructive standard therapies (surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy) did not significantly lower cancer mortality over the last 30 years. This failure to achieve positive results in the statistically major forms of cancer has spurred the demand for new concepts of treatment and has ushered in the scientific, experimental, and clinical efficacy testing of therapeutic measures used in complementary oncology. Strictly regarding QOL, complementary methods have demonstrated a benefit that is of critical value to overall success in a treatment course. With this notion in mind, we explore the prospects of how a supplementary drug named HESA-A may impact QOL in cancer care.

The facts in published studies at the outset establish that based on in vitro and animal studies HESA-A, does not provoke severe and serious side effects at therapeutic doses and that it holds a quite wide therapeutic index defined as a no-observable-adverse-effect level (NOAEL) which is 100 times the therapeutic dose used in clinical studies. In such studies the witnessed side-effects were minimal in type and extend some of which were nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain and mild headache. Latterly, the data in print confirm that HESA-A positively affects the quality of life, increased appetite, weight gain, improved function and pain reduction in end-stage metastatic cancer patients with oncologies as osteosarcoma, colon, breast and prostate cancer.

HESA-A presents itself as a promising supplementary drug in complementary cancer therapy specifically effecting QOL in patients under treatment.
